With our Event of the Week package you get:

• A premium listing in our events site.
• A promotional box on the Home page of The Register.
• A promotional box on five daily newsletters (Monday to Friday).

1. Sign up for a free events account here. If you already have an account you can log in.
2. Once logged in, click on New Event in the Promoters Area box.
3. Fill out the event details (making sure to test the links at the bottom of the page).
4. When you are satisfied that all the details are correct, submit the event.
5. You will then be taken to a page that lets you know your event has been successfully submitted. On this page you can see how your listing will appear when live — the url for this page ends in a four-digit number, NOTE THIS NUMBER.
6. Finally you need to send the following to ads@theregister.com:
   • The four-digit number at the end of the listing URL.
   • Up to 25 words of text copy for the promotional box on the Homepage and newsletters.
7. With this information we have everything we need to promote your event.
   • We will notify you when the Event of the Week promotion goes live.
   • The event will appear under Your Events in the Promoters Area box whenever you log in.
   • You can alter the details of your event at any time by logging in and clicking on Your Event in the Promoters Area box.
